The Artist...Natures Story

When we filmed we where planing on going out of school and film nature and crap but wouldn't you know that the one day we where going to go out and film a hurricane was in Texas and some rain got up to us, it rained for 3 days.

So after we where stuck to stay inside, we had to go somewhere that the raid couldn't hurt the camera so we brainstormed for a while to see if we wanted to wait the rain out or go to someones house or a cave or somewhere. we decided to go to one of our favorite places to film.

the song we chose was Michael Jordan look me in the eyes Reed chose it because he liked it and it was inspiring to him. he showed it to me and i also liked it!

Codes

CODECS

Codecs are not easy, you need to know what your doing in order to read and do codes. you will need to know chroma subsampling, spatial compression, and temporal compression. these are
easy to learn but here are there definitions.
Chroma subsampling-
  1.  is the practice of encoding images by implementing less resolution for chroma information than for luma information, taking advantage of the human visual system's lower acuity for color differences than for luminance.
Spatial Compression-
s where unnecessary information from an image is discarded, resulting in smaller files and faster load times. It does not affect image quality in any way, and from a users perspective will only mean faster load times.
Temporal Compression-
Reducing digital video file sizes by compressing frames as a group. Also known as the
"interframe" method.

The Beginning

The Beginning

Story is an account of imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment for a period of time. the difference between story and plot is that plot doesn't have a setting or characters all it has is a plot.
I think the article makes perfect sense. I think too often we find the plot first because the sequence of events will have some form of hook to it, a twist or some shock factor to keep the audience engaged. I'd prefer my audience to be part of a world I'd created, not simply waiting to see what happens next. By knowing 100% who your characters are, you can throw any event in because you will know exactly how they would react to it. Plot focused films have a tendency of having unbelievable characters with no personal story to them. And as Abbas Kiarostami says "Good cinema is what we can believe and bad cinema is what we can't believe".

I agree with Forster's definition of story it doesn't hold up for film.

My Personality Type

i have the same personality as a lot of important people and high up rank, some people altered history while some just hurt people. Some are good like Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Henry Ford. But some are bad like Saddam Hussein, and Augusto Pinochet. so i would be love to be like one of the those people, exempt maybe the bad guys.

  1. How well do you think your type description describes you? Give an example of part that is “right on”, and another part that is maybe “not so much.”

I think this describes me good. I think the part that is "right on" is that a lot of people on that list are good leaders. the "not so much" is that they like having responsibility, but i don't.

  2. Does your personality type description help you to better understand why you are the way you are – and to understand why you gravitate towards some types of work, play, or activities over others? Explain.

the way i am is the way i am i don't believe that is my life.

  3. In what ways does your personality type clarify for you the role you tend to take when on a team, as part of your family, or in any other setting requiring interaction with a group? What happens when the role you need to fill matches up with your personality type? What happens when it doesn’t?

In a team i like to be the leader, i don't mind not being a leader.

  4. In what ways do you think other people have misunderstood you in the past, due to your personality type? Are there people in your life that you “have issues” with, that could at least partially be explained by the two of you not understanding or not accepting each other’s personality types? Examples!

I think people dont know i am a good leader because i am fun and happy.

  5. What have you learned about yourself by doing this assignment?
i have learned that i can be a good leader and help people.
